Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal data collected through this destination only. It does not cover the operator sites, safer gambling organisations or regulator pages we link to — once you follow a link away from here, that destination's own privacy policy applies. How our outbound links work, and what is passed with them, is set out in Section 6 and on our Linked Sites & Accessibility page.

2. Who we are and how to contact us

This destination is operated by BV Gaming Limited, trading as Casino Review Hub ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

4. How we use your information, and our legal basis

PurposeLegal basis

Remembering your cookie consent choiceNecessary to provide the choice you asked us to remember
Understanding aggregate usage to improve our room walkthroughsYour consent
Measuring and improving advertising campaigns, including those run through Microsoft AdvertisingYour consent

Meeting legal, regulatory and advertising-code obligationsCompliance with a legal obligation

Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time using the "Cookie Settings" button in our footer, or the controls described in our Cookie Policy. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place while consent was in force. Where applicable Data Privacy Laws require a different lawful basis, we rely on that basis instead and will say so at the point of collection.

5. Individual tracking and third-party sharing for advertising

This destination is advertised, in part, through Microsoft Advertising. You should be aware that:

  • Individual end-user tracking takes place on this destination for advertising and marketing measurement purposes, and data may be shared with third parties — including Microsoft — for those purposes.
  • Microsoft independently collects or receives personal data from visitors who interact with our Microsoft Advertising campaigns, for example via ad click identifiers and via Microsoft's Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag, where and when we enable it on this destination. Microsoft acts as an independent controller for that data.
  • You can read how Microsoft collects, uses and shares that data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab).
  • Any cookies set by Microsoft's tracking technologies on this destination are listed, with their name, purpose and duration, in our Cookie Policy.

6. Affiliate links and click tracking

Every "Visit Casino" button on this destination is an affiliate link. When you choose to follow one:

  • The link passes through an affiliate tracking service before delivering you to the operator's own site. That service records the click together with an affiliate account identifier, so that any resulting sign-up can be attributed to us for commission purposes.
  • Your browser supplies that service with the technical information any web request carries, such as your IP address, the browser and device you are using, and the page you came from.
  • Once you arrive on the operator's site, the operator — not us — is the controller of the personal data you provide there, including anything you enter during registration, identity verification or deposit. Their own privacy policy applies from that point.
  • We do not receive your name, account details, deposits, stakes or any other gambling account information from the operator. What we receive is aggregated commission reporting.

A fuller description of how our outbound links behave, including which links are affiliate links and which are not, is on our Linked Sites & Accessibility page. The commercial terms behind those links are described on our Affiliate Agreement page.

7. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We share limited data with:

  • Service providers who host this destination or process analytics on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data-processing obligations;
  • Microsoft, as described in Section 5 above, for advertising and marketing measurement purposes;
  • The affiliate tracking service described in Section 6, for commission attribution;
  • Professional advisers, and regulators or law enforcement, where we are legally required or permitted to do so.

We do not share your contact form details with the casino operators we review.

8. How long we keep data

DataRetention period
Contact form submissions12 months from the date your enquiry is closed, then deleted
Correspondence about a data protection request3 years, to evidence how the request was handled
Cookie consent record12 months on your device, or until you change or clear it
Analytics and advertising dataAs set out per cookie in our Cookie Policy — up to 16 months
Affiliate commission recordsAs required for accounting and tax purposes, normally 6 years

9. International transfers

Some recipients, including Microsoft, are based in or transfer data to the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is made subject to an appropriate safeguard recognised under applicable Data Privacy Laws — such as the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum. Details of the safeguard relied on by a particular recipient are available from that recipient, or from us on request.

10. How we protect your data

This destination is served over HTTPS. Access to contact form submissions is limited to the editorial and compliance staff who need it, and we store no payment or gambling account data of any kind. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, and the risk meets the threshold set by applicable Data Privacy Laws, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and, where required, you.

11. Your rights and choices

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your data is used — this policy;
  • request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
  • have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
  • have data deleted where we no longer have grounds to keep it (erasure);
  • restrict our processing while a dispute about it is resolved;
  • object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest;
  • receive data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on;
  • complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@casinoreviewhub.co.uk, or through our Contact page, choosing "Privacy or data protection request". We respond within one month, and will tell you if we need longer because the request is complex. There is no charge for making a request.

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time using the "Cookie Settings" button in our footer. You can also opt out of personalised advertising directly with Microsoft via the Microsoft personalised ads opt-out (opens in a new tab), and industry-wide via Your Online Choices (opens in a new tab).

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, on 0303 123 1113, or at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab). We would ask that you raise it with us first, so we have the chance to put it right.

12. Children's privacy

This destination is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, we do not direct advertising at anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have collected data from a person under 18 we will delete it. If you believe a person under 18 has submitted data to us, contact us immediately.

13. Other disclosures

Where applicable Data Privacy Laws require disclosures beyond those set out above, those requirements apply and take precedence over this policy. If you believe a required disclosure is missing, tell us via the Contact page and we will correct it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Where a change materially affects how we use your personal data, we will make that clear on this destination before the change takes effect.
